I'm a .NET and C# engineer with 8+ years of building backends: APIs, microservices, event-driven systems and the infrastructure that runs them. I work remotely with teams in Europe and the US, or in person in Pristina, as a freelancer, contractor or full-time hire.

- APIs and web services in C# and ASP.NET Core, built with Clean Architecture, DDD and CQRS, and covered by tests (NUnit, NSubstitute).
- Microservices and event-driven systems with RabbitMQ and MassTransit, including the Transactional Outbox pattern so no event is ever lost.
- Security: API gateways (YARP), JWT authentication, policy-based authorization, secrets in HashiCorp Vault.
- Data: PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MariaDB, Entity Framework and Redis, with schemas that evolve safely.
- DevOps and observability: Docker, CI/CD with GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps, tracing and logs with OpenTelemetry, Jaeger and Seq.
- Existing codebases: I've worked across ASP.NET MVC 5, ASP.NET Core MVC and modern .NET, so I can extend or improve what you already have.
